PWRDF is delighted to welcome Patricia Maruschak as our new Director of Partnerships and Programs.
Patricia has worked in international development for more than 25 years, designing and implementing development and humanitarian assistance programs in partnership with people and organizations in Ukraine, Ethiopia, Uganda, Myanmar and Palestine, to name a few.
Patricia has worked for Canadian and international organizations such as the Government of Canada, Global Affairs Canada and its predecessor the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), as well as the World Bank Group, Canadian Lutheran World Relief and the Canadian Bureau for International Education. Most recently, Patricia was the Director of Engagement and Learning at the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation. Patricia earned her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Manitoba and a Masters in Public Administration and International Development from Carleton University.
Patricia will lead the Partnerships and Programs team remotely from Winnipeg. She looks forward to working with PWRDF’s many development partners in Canada and around the world, as well as our dynamic network of volunteers in Anglicans churches. “PWRDF is known for its strong partnerships with organizations assisting people in need around the world. I’m looking forward to learning more about these impressive partner organizations and working with PWRDF’s team to support them in the important work they’re doing.”
