Deborah Edwards
Diocese of Fredericton
Deborah Edwards spent 38 years in Saint John, N.B., where she enjoyed a long career as a teacher, consultant and supervisor in the area of Special Education. She and her husband also raised two children, Joel and Christy, and she was an active member of St. John’s (Stone) Anglican Church. Three years ago, then widowed, she married Archbishop David Edwards (also widowed), and moved to Fredericton. Deborah takes great delight in getting to know the Diocese and travelling with David to different parishes most Sundays. Another delight, for both of them, is spending time with their families, including grandchildren Grace, 10, and Isaiah, 5, as well as their parents in New Brunswick and England. For Deborah, it’s a blessing to spend time together, working in the garden or taking daily walks.
