‘I’m thrilled to be taking on this new role’

The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund is pleased to announce that Su McLeod has accepted the position of Youth Engagement Facilitator with PWRDF, and will join the Canadian Anglican Partnership Program team on June 5, 2018.

Su has 20 years of experience working in child, youth and family ministry in the Anglican Church. For the past three years she has been the Program Consultant for Children, Youth and Families in the Diocese of Niagara. Prior to that, Su was the Youth Ministry Facilitator in the Diocese of British Columbia. She holds a Diploma of Higher Education from the University of Chester in Christian Youth Work with Applied Theology.

Su has attended three Truth and Reconciliation gatherings (volunteering at one), worked to promote the Right to Water National Youth Project (Pikangikum) and hosted and organized youth and young adults to attend Mapping the Ground We Stand On workshop. She has hosted and welcomed the PWRDF Youth Council In both B.C. and Niagara dioceses. She is currently the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario representative to the Anglican Church’s National Youth Secretariat.

“I’m thrilled to be taking on this new role,” says Su. “I’m really excited to get started with PWRDF and to continue to build on the ministry and work that is already happening. One of the pieces I really want to work on is pastoral response to our community who is engaged with PWRDF.”

Su is married to the Rev’d Scott McLeod of the Diocese of Niagara, and they have a six-year-old son, Theo.
