The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) has announced an initial grant of $20,000 for ACT’s Rapid Response Program.  ACT has issued a preliminary appeal of $1.6 million USD for response to the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Chile on February 27. PWRDF does not currently have development partners in Chile but has a history of working ecumenically through coalitions, accompanying human rights organizations and at this time, responding to the needs of those in Chile through ACT Alliance. PWRDF is receiving donations for Chile.
