The Venerable Charlene Taylor

Charlene grew up on the east coast of Newfoundland in the Town of Conception Bay South, 15 minutes from St. John’s. She was educated in St. John’s and earned a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and English) Memorial University of Newfoundland and Master of Divinity, Queen’s College. As a theological student, Charlene completed an international internship in the Diocese of the Windward Islands, West Indies. Ordained in 1999, she has served in multi-point isolated, rural and urban parishes including 11 years in Labrador. She is a parish priest in the City of Mount Pearl and is Chaplain to the Bishop and Bishop’s Commissary. Charlene serves on her Diocesan Society and Justice Committee and is a member of the Anglican Church of Canada’s Partners in Mission Committee. Charlene has been a PWRDF Diocesan Representative for more than 10 years and has promoted and supported PWRDF since childhood.
