Mona Edwards

Mona was born and raised in Deer Lake, Newfoundland, a small town of approximately 5,000, just south of Gros Morne National Park on the province’s scenic west coast. She retired from Scotiabank in 2004, after a 32-year career and now enjoys her passion for photography. She is active in her local parish as ACW and Vestry outreach chair, Diocesan Synod delegate and is a member of the synod executive. She is the treasurer of the Firettes, associated with the local community fire department. She and her husband have a travelling gospel music ministry that they incorporate into PWRDF events whenever possible. She has three adult children and two young granddaughters. Mona has been involved with PWRDF since 2002 at the parish level and has been Diocesan Representative for the Diocese of Western Newfoundland since 2014.
