Elizabeth Grew

Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology from the University of Kings College in Halifax, married the Rev. Tim Grew, and worked in mental health social work for three years in Nova Scotia. She lived in Venezuela for two years and then worked for 27 years in various roles with the federal government in Northern Manitoba and Ontario. She retired in 2004 in Belleville and volunteers with a number of organizations. She remains active in her local parish, is a Director of the Diocesan Foundation of Ontario Board, and as a PWRDF Diocesan Representative, is a member of the Justice and Peace Commission (Roman Catholic/Anglican). She is a member of The Rotary Club of Belleville, served as Director with Trenval, a local Community Futures Economic Development Board, is a member of the Later Life Learning Steering Committee, Canadian Federation of University Women and the Quinte Grannies supporting the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
