Dorothy Marshall

Diocese of Edmonton

Dorothy believes we are all called to be good stewards of this earth, and she lives that daily in her role as an organic livestock producer in east central Alberta where she and her husband have raised five children as well as a variety of livestock. She has been deeply involved in the organic industry, both at a provincial and federal level and has taught livestock health and management courses. She is involved in her local community and school, and in her local parish, having been treasurer for over 25 years. She is also a long time Sunday school teacher. She believes that a healthy earth grows healthy food, which should be available to all. She is passionate about food justice issues and values the opportunity to be a PWRDF Diocesan Representative. She is thankful for the ministry of this faith-based organization which enables others to improve their own lives as well as those of their community members.
