Anne Walling

Diocese of Fredericton

Graduating in 1995 from University of New Brunswick, Saint John, (BA Sociology Major, Criminal Justice minor), Anne often quips that she is “now qualified to open a nursing home for old criminals.” She began her working career as a Psychiatric Ward Attendant at the Provincial Hospital in Saint John, and Nursing Assistant in the newborn nursery at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She served on the Human Development Board during which time she became involved with anti-poverty groups in Saint John. In her parish of Central Kings, Anne serves on Vestry, as communications officer, media administrator, PWRDF parish representative and as a licensed lay reader for the parishes of Central Kings and Upham. But, her real passion is for PWRDF which she says, “satisfies her caregiving soul.” Anne and Allan have been married fifty-six years, have three children and six grandchildren. Anne has been involved with PWRDF for many years and has served as the PWRDF Diocesan Representative since 2009.
