Thanks, Patti- fixed!

Victoria- you're absolutely right about the need to let time happen outside our control. For me, the anxiety comes when I have two competing needs for the same time. But whenever possible, letting the time happen as it needs to is generally a good thing! :)

Thank you so much for your comments! (Also, thanks for catching my spelling errors :). My goal always in writing blogs from the field is to give people a sense of what it is like to be here, so I am glad to hear that this entry has worked for you Patti! I'm looking forward to seeing you and the rest of my friends at Kinal Antzetik D.F. tomorrow!

Simon, I really thank you. Your profound words have touched me and have reached my heart. Actually, I thought I was there. Now, I realized that we have always had this tool to comunicate all of our experiencies and learnings but had not taken advantage of it. Thanks to you for teaching us. Hugs to you, to Jose and to the girls (Merit included).

So many things in this post to comment on Simon. First of all, I'm feeling so sad about the children who lost both their parents. And second, I really related to your comment about compulsive "on timeness". And while this is a good quality to have for the most part, your article reminds me that it is sometimes good to let time happen without us needing to shape it. Sometimes time doesn't need to run in a straight line .. we can bend it when someone needs or wants us to be with us longer than we'd scheduled. Or when a beautiful sunset or profound view calls out to us to connect with ourselves and whatever is in the Great Beyond for an extra minute, an extra hour or even an extra day.
