The range of HIV/AIDS services provided through the Diocese of Kampala is a small picture of the ways hope is engendered in many places of people’s lives:
- High schools and youth centres host diocesan HIV/AIDS workshops;
- Post-test clubs are formed for people who have received a positive HIV/ AIDS diagnosis;
- The diocese pays school fees and purchases materials and uniforms for 300 HIV/AIDS orphans;
- 360 people or family members affected by AIDS receive nutritional support.
- Pastoral care and referral services are available for families and individuals;
- 2000 people have been tested in diocesan Volunteer Testing Clubs.
